Titles & Tea returns on Wednesday, May 25th!

The Titles & Tea Book Discussion Group's hiatus is over!  The group will have its first meeting of 2011 in the newly renovated Community Room on Wednesday, May 25, at 3:00 pm.

In keeping with the library's commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Beginning of the American Civil War, they have chosen their reading selection to be........

The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize this novel is substantiated by extensive research. Day by day, we learn how the officers at the Battle of Gettysburg felt about each other, their regiments, and the cause that led them all to that fateful place.




While you are here, we invite you to explore the 2011 Historic Photography Show, "Ligonier Valley Goes to War, 1861-1865: the American Civil War," that will still be showing in the Pennsylvania Room.  The opening reception is Tuesday, May 3, and the show runs until the 31st.  Come to the reception Tuesday at 6:00 pm to meet Abraham Lincoln, and get a first look at the new Community Room.
